What will your role be?
Reporting into the Supply Planning Manager this role works with an incredibly diverse and fast paced team to ensure that our consumers can enjoy our products all year round. The Supply Planner is responsible for managing on-time, in-full supply of our diverse range of products from Imports, local and 3PM. Ethe focus of the role is to build strong relationship with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Executing distribution requirements planning across ANZ to optimize inventory levels. timely replenishment of finished goods while balancing service, cost, and inventory. It also maintains a smooth and efficient supply chain, ensuring products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and risks.
This is an exciting opportunity to take an end-to-end network view and across our Diageo’s exciting range and will be the key interface between Imports planning, local operational planning and wider Diageo business. You will get exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and be able to influence bring meaningful insights to help improve how we manage product availability and customer service across the Diageo network.
This position is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Collaborate and lead local production sites to ensure swift flow of products through the network
  • Identify and manage risks within the overall supply plan, with a strong focus on continuous improvement;
  • Lead our efforts to reduce slow moving stock, focusing on delivering impactful commercial outcomes in this arena; and
  • Support and contribute to the business S&OP process. Review and identify anomalies or trends that may have a detrimental effect on the main objectivesof achieving maximum supply service levels to customer
  • Responsible for working with Raw material suppliers to ensure required material to support Diageo production plan
  • Create replenishment plans at all Diageo Australia DCs ensuring timely delivery of inventory production requirements, contractual obligations, and warehouse space.
  • Plan and track inventory levels and work with logistics to address constraints
  • Ensure materials are available at the right time and place for Site all Diageo DCs
  • Implement strategies to minimize obsolete stock and maintain optimal inventory levels at DC level
  • Follow up on order reports and expedite orders to meet Customer order deadlines from various DCs.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with Import Planner and Local planner.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Collaborate with demand planners, sales and marketing teams to develop accurate replenishment plan.
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to predict future demand + requirement
  • Analyse data and use this to tell a story and provide actionable insights to drive service performance
  • Take a full network view across both portfolios to ensure service, cost, inventory and risk is suitably balanced
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and communicate ongoing reports to provide visibility to business providing details of resolution and impact to business
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, sales, and finance.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to maintain the Diageo Huntingwood Planning.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Demonstrated experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Previous experience in demand or supply planning, replenishment roles or in procurement / strategic sourcing
  • Familiarity and experience with planning, and replenishment systems. Preference is experience in SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and make decisions in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with 3PL and 3PM, supplier, planners and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solve and address stock outages or delivery problems promptly.
  • Analytical capacity and attention to detail in managing inventory and planning processes.
  • A continuous improvement mindset
