This full-time position is a key supporting role within the Supply Chain Department.
The fundamental requirement of the role is to ensure that our capacity is aligned to our customer demand through closely managing our target safety stock levels within our SAP system. - Managing our available capacity in line with our forecasted demand.
- Capturing and accurately maintaining order information using SAP from order to invoicing.
- Liaising on a daily basis with the operations, warehousing, and quality teams, working towards the common goal of satisfying our customers’ needs as part of the supply chain department.
- Stock management, ensuring lean working capital at all times.
- Reporting various weekly departmental KPI’s, to include OTIF, inventory and stock at risk
- Support the regional and global commercial functions.
- Support the materials team.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE
- Previous experience within a similar planning role within supply chain, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Diploma or higher in a Business/Supply Chain related subject would be desirable, however not essential.
- The successful candidate will possess the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills to include Excel (Pivot tables and experience of Macros) and ideally SAP or similar ERP experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbal with a variety of internal / external contacts.
- Good numeracy skills with the ability to record, interpret and analyse data.
- You’ll love being part of a team player, but equally happy working on your own initiative.
In Kerry we know that sometimes the perfect candidate doesn’t exist, and people can be put off applying for a role if they don’t fit all the requirements. If you are excited about working for us and have the majority of the skills or experience, then please do apply as you could be exactly what we are looking for.
