SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Management or Science related field is required, an APICS certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of supply chain, or commercial experience with strong analytical skills.
  • Skills in building analytical tools (Power BI) or workflow with a demonstrable record of driving business improvements is highly desirable.
  • Track record in successfully supporting portfolio enablement.
  • Independently leading initiatives and successfully implementing them
  • Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., JDA E1, SAP) and general understanding of supply chain.
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite of software.
  • Good communication skills and commercial savvy.
  • Business savvy and insightful, able to assess requests and challenge assumptions.
  • Strategically minded, able to connect the dots, to handle conflict and to leverage data to reach decisions at speed – operate with a sense of urgency.
  • At ease partnering with leaders at all levels, internally and externally and to stay focused on most critical priorities.
  • Naturally take the lead to drive optimization and standardisation improvements – even without formal request

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Supply Planner Lead is primarily responsible for being a trouble shooter, a customer orientated change agent that uses data and PPI tools & methodologies to identify the root causes of the problems; and then, designing, developing, automating, and delivering streamline solutions and workflows in consultation & collaboration with internal and external parties to enable efficient Supply operations. Also, being an advocate for improving internal communication and bringing visibility through Power BI exception reporting and promoting its use within the business. Additionally, responsible for procurement of stock in accordance with the Demand Plan and Supply Planning parameters to ensure stock is available at the right place, at the right time and in right quantities. With a focus on improving service, availability, working capital and efficiency, you will be offering planning insights, developing strategies, and implementing the actions to achieve the desired outcomes. Furthermore, collaboratively working with the commercial teams to maximise revenue and minimise inventories to achieve a balanced SIOP results and deliver overall AOP objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, build and deploy systems and processes to improve productivity and efficiency to meet the changing business needs.
  • Strive to automate and digitize the supply chain at every opportunity and deliver a complete solution within the integrated management system framework with process documentation and end user training.
  • Analyse the fill rates and misses and develop consensus on corrective actions with the Demand Planners and other team members.
  • Additional Supplier enrolment for ETD BOT updates and review exceptions through to resolutions in a timely manner in compliance with the business processes and procedures.
  • Ensure purchase orders, customers’ orders, and payables workflows efficiently to improve customer allegiance (CAS) and profitability as well as timely responses to all queries that impact customers.
  • Maintain master data accuracy to improve quality of information and facilitate supply planning execution excellence and to achieve BAU critical metric objectives.
  • Provide input to Daily / Weekly Management Boards to populate critical metric that improves the business performance as well as partaking in problem solving and process improvement events.
  • Partake in inventory reviews to provide insights for stock health and achievement of AOP targets including effective Distribution Resource Planning.
  • Lead the monthly supply planning process for the assigned Divisions’ and drive pre-SIOP discussions with Commercial partners to support and facilitate the SIOP cycle.
  • Maintain timely place, chase, cancel and delay actions to maintain the inventories within applicable agreed stock policies.
  • Lead the weekly Demand and Supply meetings, including timely preparation of reports, clearly identifying the risks or opportunities, recommending, and driving the follow-up actions for mitigating risk or capitalising on opportunities.
  • Partake in the construct of weekly Pulse Calls and collaborate with other teams to resolve any blockages and arrive at an agreed actions to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Develop collaborative workspace with weekly or fortnightly supplier meetings to improve visibility, engagement and effective problem solving to deliver an agreed supply plan.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to improve and maintain supplier performance.
  • Partner with portfolio teams to plan, guide and optimize the results of new product launches.
  • Lead timely delivery of Ad-hoc project-based task that may be assigned to you within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
