ABOUT US
Digital technologies (DT) is at the cutting edge of digital innovation, partnering with global organisations to focus on delivering an outstanding student and staff digital experience.
At NTU, digital will be our differentiator; it will provide opportunities to enhance the timeliness and quality of the delivery of teaching and learning, research, support for our students, and the delivery of services. Whether you’re looking to start a career in IT or are already a specialist in digital technology and it’s uses, our DT team at NTU could be the perfect place for you.
For any informal queries about the role or the team, please contact Dave Andrews (Senior Application Specialist) at david.andrews@ntu.ac.uk or Ann-Marie Cancemi (Support and Application Specialist Manager) at ann-marie.cancemi@ntu.ac.uk
Responsibilities:
- We have an exciting opportunity within Digital Technologies for a Support Analyst. You will be responsible for providing second line technical support for enterprise level applications which are fundamental to the student journey here at NTU.
- Working within the Application Specialist team part of Corporate Applications, you will be assigned to a specific product portfolio where you will learn the application to a detailed level, but it is expected that you will support the application analysts across all corporate application product portfolios. Excellent communication skills are critical to the success of this role.
- You will also get the opportunity to work closely with specialists, business users, developers, DBA’s and application vendors, staying up to date with new features and support the use of the systems around key life-cycle activities.
- If you enjoy investigating and diagnosing issues, interested in finding and implementing solutions in a timely and professional manner, then this role could be just for you. You will also be involved in upgrades and the implementation of small enhancements and provide valuable advice to our user community.
- If you are proactive, have good all-round technical knowledge and an interest in delivering outstanding customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that this is not a remote working role. The current expectation is that you will work on campus in Nottingham at least once a week.
