POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Support Clerk/Receptionist in our Seattle office. Provide reception coverage and assist with general filing duties on an as-needed basis with legal support team. Sort, categorize and index appropriate documents following firm procedures and policies. Assist records department in the creation, culling, scanning, and secure destruction of files. This position requires on-site work, Monday-Friday.

- Required: A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand basic office procedures in English
SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
$50,000-$55,000 – This salary range is dependent upon a variety of factors, which include but are not limited to the following: the candidate’s relevant experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability to perform all of the essential functions of the position as well as the ability to perform tasks which would arise from the needs of the position or as assigned and all of the qualifications listed in the job description. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short & long-term disability, 401K, paid time off, and holiday pay.
Working Conditions:

Qualifications of Support Clerk/Receptionist:
- Basic filing knowledge, both alpha and numeric, with aptitude for detail.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office products (including Outlook, Excel and Word); moderate typing speed.
- Ability to prioritize work projects and work independently after appropriate training and instruction.
- Greet clients while maintaining a professional demeanor and reception workspace.
- Ability to work on a multi-line telephone system.
- Ability to provide a positive first-impression and greet clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Ability to take direction and communicate well with all members of a services organization, from staff to attorneys.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to occasionally work overtime as needed

Responsibilities:
This position generally involves recurring work situations with occasional variation from average to moderate complexity. The employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision. Overtime might occur during periods of high workload.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform firm reception duties (approximately 4-5 hours/day):
- Answering multi-line phone system.
- Greeting and announcing clients and attending to their needs.
- Directing other visitors appropriately.
- Accepting deliveries.
- Keeping the reception area free from clutter.
- Perform basic administrative support to the Legal Assistant and Records team:
- Opening files using records electronic system, creating folders.
- Closing files using the firm’s protocol.
- Assisting with creating binders, larger copy or scanning projects, as time permits.
- Assisting with mailing; E-Certify, Fedex, etc.
- Assisting with as needed on-site coverage of WFH employees.
- Other tasks as may be assigned.
