Description:
SELF-EMPLOYED
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, kind, and patient individual to join our team, in supporting adults who require additional support, get involved in the fun activities we host. Who would also be our Arts and Crafts Session Leader, who will be responsible for planning and organising arts and crafts activities ahead of time for our clients arts and crafts sessions which take place on Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Additionally, will participate in other activities, encouraging and helping clients to join in. These activities include bingo, cooking, music, games, and chair Zumba. Will also be assisting in the setup and cleanup of daily activities.
18 hours per week
Monday - 9:30am - 3.00pm
(Monday morning - leading arts and crafts / Monday afternoon - assisting with bingo)
Wednesday - 9:30am- 3:00pm
(Wednesday morning - chair Zumba / Wednesday afternoon - leading arts and crafts)
Thursday - 9:30am - 3:00pm
(Thursday morning - assisting clients with cooking and baking / Thursday afternoon - assisting with bingo)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead arts and crafts sessions.
- Encourage and support clients to participate in various other activities.
- Manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of activities.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Experience:
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with adults requiring additional support.
