We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Caboolture. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities and are flexible with working various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnights (minimum 2 per fortnight), and weekends, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Working within our SIL (Supported Independant Living) homes, you will support people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Your key duties will include:
- Helping people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
- Assisting with personal care as required, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.
- Supporting daily activities, such as going for walks, attending movies, or accompanying appointments.
- Helping maintain connections with family, friends, and services.
