Support Worker

at  Home Care Direct

WE ARE SEEKING A PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKER IN THE BURWELL, CAMBRIDGE AREA FOR 19 HOURS PER WEEK.

The hours will follow a rotating schedule, so the working days may vary each week; this can be discussed further during the interview. The work hours will be between 9:30am and 6:30pm. The pay rate for this role is £14.40 per hour and £15.05 per hour at weekends.

All training is to CQC standards to meet the needs of the client.

• An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense to be met by HomeCareDirect)
• You must be a driver aged 25yrs (for insurance purposes) or over with a full, UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the client
• Good use of and understanding of English and communication skills due to client needs
• Prepared to commit to long term care for one client in a ‘person-centred’ way
• Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client’s needs
