We are looking for a Personal Assistant for our 13-year-old son who has Down Syndrome and Autism.
Joshua would like support in the school holidays 8 hours & occasional weekends
The perfect candidate must have experience of working with children with additional needs and preferably has some knowledge of Makaton.
Joshua enjoys various activities within the community such as swimming, trampolining, bowling etc. Lots of fun to be had!!
Payments will be made through Leeds City Council on a monthly basis at £13 p/h
The council will pay £12.40 towards this hourly rate
All fuel and expenses will also be covered.
The family live in Shadwell, LS17.
Training will be available via the council
A DBS check will be completed prior to starting the role and 2 references taken up
5.6 weeks holiday pay pro-rata
