EXPERIENCE:
- Floor/ceiling hoist
- High levels of Personal Care
- Catheter, pressure injury management, and skin care
- Able to provide full medication administration
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant industry related qualification is highly desirable
- Must have a driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Expressions of interest for Disability Support Worker in the Eight Miles Plains area. This role will be suitable for someone needing extra hours or looking for casual role. Our participant is looking for high need disability support workers. He is diagnosed with, acquire brain injury, epilepsy, paraplegia, asthma and BOC. This is a two-hour ongoing shift, and your availability is important to the participant. Shift available from Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Training will be provided prior commencement of shifts.
