Are you passionate about making difference in the lives of individuals living with disabilities, then join our team as a Support Worker today!
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our diverse team in the Perth Metro area and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for those we support.
No two days are the same in this dynamic role! One day you could be helping a participant build their independent living skills and the next day you could be out and about providing recreational support and community access. This is a rewarding and varied role!

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide person-centered support to participants
  • Assist participants in achieving their personal goals
  • Promote community inclusion and social engagement
  • Assist participants with community outings which may include recreational activities, appointments and religious activities
  • Assist participants with their daily living skills and activities within the home

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the disability sector
  • Experience working people who have behaviours of concern as well as a strong understanding on how to apply a behaviour support plan
  • Passion for working with people in their homes and the community
  • Experience with communication plans (PODD/Communication devices)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Specific training related to disability (finger spelling, autism, mental health) (Desirable)
  • Ability to use your own vehicle travelling within the Perth metro area.
