Support Worker Hartlepool - £11.45 ph
Typical Shifts are:
Early 8am - 3pm
Late 3pm 10pm
Long Days 8am 10pm
Wake Nights 10pm 8am

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Night Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our residential service in Hartlepool is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities.

This role will involve

  • Ensuring the building is safe by carrying out regular safety checks i.e doors and windows are locked and secured.
  • Carrying out personal care for individuals
  • Completing cleaning duties
  • Ensuring necessary paperwork is complete.
  • Handing over any concerns or issues that have arisen through the night ( report emergency’s immediately to the home manager)

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We’re interested in our Night Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Night Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
