  • Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a repair technician or supervisor in a related field
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of repair technicians
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of electronic and mechanical systems
  • Excellent bilingual communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with customers and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a focus on meeting customer deadlines and delivering high-quality repairs
  • Familiarity with repair center software and systems, such as repair tracking and invoicing systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring that all repairs are completed accurately and to a high standard
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivit

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise a team of repair technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed timely and to a high standard, meeting, or exceeding customer expectations
  • Manage inventory and ordering of parts and supplies, ensuring that the repair center is well-stocked and operational
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or problems that arise during the repair process
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates on the status of their repairs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts and labor charges, and ensure that all repairs are reported to cost centers in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are being met and that the repair center is operating effectively
  • Provide training and development opportunities for repair technicians to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as repair completion rates, customer satisfaction, and repair center profitability
  • Ensure that all repairs are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that all safety protocols are followed
  • Manage the repair center budget, including the allocation of resources and the tracking of expenses
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure that all repairs are performed in a professional and workmanlike manner
