SURGICAL REGISTRAR:

Beacon Hospital wishes to obtain applications for the position of Surgical Registrars for July 2024 (competitive salary and training grant apply)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• MRCP, MRCGP or equivalent is required.
• Current relevant Full Irish Medical Council Registration.
• Membership of relevant college is desirable
• Experience at Registrar level in an acute Hospital setting.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Proven ability to work as an effective team member.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• All posts in Beacon Hospital require a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Therefore, the post holder will be required to demonstrate flexibility as and when required by their manager or hospital management.

To provide care to inpatients in Beacon Hospital, and to any other patients in the hospital who requires acute medical intervention that can be provided by a Medical Registrar.
The Medical Department at Beacon Hospital is a consultant delivered service. The team consists of the Medical Consultant who works in collaboration with the Medical Registrars, SHO’s and interns in formulating management plans for patients.
