JOB SUMMARY

Keltic Geomatics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Party Chief, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring accurate data collection, and managing project timelines. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles and data management.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a surveying role with a strong understanding of data collection techniques.
• Proficient using conventional survey instruments, total station, digital levels, and GPS equipment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Experience with CAD Drafting Software is an asset but not required.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a construction surveyor.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must reside in BC or AB.

  Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Work Location: On the roa

• Proficient with field survey systems and software such as GPS and Total Stations.
• Conduct accurate construction layouts and asbuilts.
• Self-motivated and must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and follows instructions set out by management.
• Proficient in performing field calculations and maintaining accurate notes.
• Capable of professionally representing the company to clients and the public.
• Adaptable to working in diverse geographical locations, weather conditions, and climates.
• Submits required documentation to office staff, including field notes, calculations, and other survey data.
• Performs all health and safety duties as identified in the company’s safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively during night shifts.
