JOB OVERVIEW
Site Resources is currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Survey/Draftsman for our Civil Earthworks Division. This position includes surveying, quantity takeoffs, drawing red lining, and assisting quality control.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years’ industry-related experience.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
- Post Secondary Education in Survey related field.
- Must have Surveying experience, drafting experience and redlining experience.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be fit-for-duty.
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
- CSTS 2020, First Aid, WHMIS, and TDG certification an asset
- Experience working with stake less survey would be an asset

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations.
- Ensuring safety regulations and protocols are followed.
- Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies.
- Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and external clients when necessary.
- Conduct surveys of civil work sites.
- Ability to operate survey-related equipment from either Trimble or Leica.
- Complete quantity takeoffs from CAD files including cut and fill quantities.
- Complete redline drawings based on completed work.
- Coordinating with GIS Specialists for updating mapping.
