Description:
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Responsibility and ownership of managing allocated buildings
- Providing high quality Property Management services
- Management of lease / tenancy events with a focus on critical dates
- Liaising with the client, their solicitors and government departments in occupation
- Preparing reports for and taking part in client meetings
- Identifying and undertaking asset management initiatives under supervision
- Dealing with occupier applications and managing all landlord consent matters
- Advising the client in respect of applications and notices -controlling the process
- Carrying out regular property inspections
- Liaising with property management accounts team on production of budgets, reconciliations, quarterly variance reports and rent raising reports
- Management of income arrears and recovery, invoice approvals, setting up new properties, completing change notes, updating management software systems, etc.
- Follow key property management processes and Playbook
- Draft documentation and take responsibility for the documentation produced within the team including cost estimates
- Attendance and positive contributions at team, department and service workshop meetings
- Support the wider GPA team
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience within a commercial property management department
- Proven experience of direct reporting to property management clients
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Managing lease events, rent reviews and expiries
- Making recommendations on tenant applications
- Sound Landlord and Tenant knowledge.
- Property Management Accounting knowledge – statements of account, service charges, VAT and arrears recovery
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree level qualification
- RICS qualified or equivalent work experience
- Previous use of Tramps or Horizon property accounting packages

Responsibilities:
The role is within the GPA Team responsible for the instruction to manage the Government Property Agency estate, there is a significant portfolio in London with several flagship buildings.
The individual will take immediate responsibility for the management of their own properties and projects. This role offers first-rate prospects for a confident, enthusiastic, committed individual.
The role will require liaison with the full complement of property management staff across the business including employees of BNP Paribas Real Estate Facilities Management & Client Finance as well as staff across other business lines such as agency, lease advisory, building consultancy and investment agency.
