Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and specialty rolls, with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ensure all sushi is prepared to the highest standard of quality, freshness, and taste, maintaining consistency in flavor and appearance.
  • Oversee the selection and preparation of fresh ingredients, including fish, rice, vegetables, and garnishes. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to health and safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and proper handling of ingredients and equipment.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing creative ideas and suggestions for new sushi dishes and presentations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions and providing an exceptional dining experience.
