Our opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a Sustainability Analyst, Construction to join our Sydney team. In this role you will support data collation and analysis, reporting, project coordination and delivery of Mirvac’s This Changes Everything strategic objectives within the Development business. The role reports to the Sustainability Manager, Construction and will interact directly with key internal project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and Reporting
Oversee the collection of key sustainability data from project teams and other internal sources.
Develop and implement robust processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of project data, and work with project teams to continuously improve data collection methodologies.
Coordinate, audit and report Development and Construction sustainability performance data for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Analyse Development and Construction sustainability data to identify and communicate trends and innovations.
Manage project sustainability scorecard updates and quarterly reviews and assist with reporting for the Construction Management team.
Collaborate with the Digital and Analytics teams to enhance and develop data collection and reporting systems to drive performance.
Assist in the review of project waste, energy, water data to ensure data integrity. Work collaboratively with the relevant Construction teams to support improvements and streamlining of reporting.
Support project team understanding, delivery and reporting of Mirvac’s Community Investment and Social Procurement targets.
Support the ongoing development and implementation of embodied carbon measurement and reporting tools.
Project Support and Coordination
Uphold and support project team adherence to minimum standards and sustainability processes.
Assist the Sustainability Managers and Director with delivery of Development business targets within Mirvac’s This Changes Everything strategy.
Provide advice to project teams relating to sustainability performance and initiatives and assist teams in delivering sustainability outcomes as needed.
Assist in preparing Green Star and other rating tool assessments and provide support to project teams in engaging external consultants.
Support a culture of sustainability excellence throughout the Construction business unit and wider Development business, through managing and promoting learning resources.
Foster external partnerships with government, industry and relevant stakeholders to promote Mirvac’s achievements and bring new ideas into the business
Your point of difference
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the property, construction or sustainability sector with demonstrated experience and technical expertise in systems and data management, reporting and analysis as well as technical expertise in environmentally sustainable design principles or proven experience in delivering on sustainable outcomes in the built environment.
A familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Microsoft BI and knowledge of embodied carbon and construction materials is preferred.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities across project and business objectives.
