Sustainability and Environmental Manager

JASARA PMC is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Sustainability and Environmental Manager to lead our efforts in sustainable development and environmental stewardship across our projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 while minimizing environmental impact and fostering sustainable practices within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, environmental management, and possess excellent leadership skills to drive initiatives that promote ecological integrity and social responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing sustainability policies and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of local and international environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable solutions to diverse audiences.
• Experience with environmental monitoring tools, reporting software, and project management methodologies.

• Lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and programs for ongoing and future projects.
• Coordinate environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Monitor project impacts and develop action plans to mitigate environmental risks.
• Create and deliver training programs to enhance sustainability awareness and practices among staff and stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and clients, to promote sustainability initiatives.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sustainability programs and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate the adoption of ISO 14001 standards and other relevant environmental certifications across all operations.
