Description:
As a Sustainability Communication Manager, you will play a crucial role in translating sustainability initiatives into compelling narratives and engaging stories. Your strategic role will bridge the gap between sustainable practices, strategic positioning, and effective messaging.
You will collaborate closely with the Global Brand and Communication team, as well as the cross-functional sustainability team, product team, and management. Your talent will lie in crafting persuasive content, positioning the brand as a trusted leader in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Participate in creating and implementing a comprehensive sustainability communication strategy, working with the CMO and Head of Brand & Com. Elevate the brand as a thought leader among stakeholders.
  • Content Creation: Develop tailored messages and engaging content to effectively communicate sustainability initiatives, fostering engagement and positive perceptions.
  • PR Collaboration: Work closely with the PR team and agency, driving the sustainability narrative and corporate strategy. Define key platforms and events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Spokesperson Support: Assist the company spokesperson on sustainability topics, ensuring accurate representation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging sustainability issues, integrating insights into strategy development.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and assess the effectiveness of sustainability communication efforts, ensuring transparency.
  • Crisis Management: Contribute to developing processes for managing sustainability-related crises.
  • Advocacy and Leadership: Champion sustainability internally and externally, demonstrating commitment to positive change.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align sustainability communication with business strategies.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communication, or business administration.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B brand management or related field (communications, marketing, PR, sustainability).
  • Proven experience in developing sustainable communication strategies for B2B and B2B2C markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a talent for crafting tailored messages.
  • Strong storytelling abilities, positioning the brand as a sustainability leader.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability issues and experience integrating sustainability into B2B brand communications.
