Description:

PROJECT SCOPE:

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to accompany and guide our client, a major player in the chemical industry, through their CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance process. The role involves leading a project team, managing resources, and delivering high-impact sustainability solutions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability, with hands-on experience leading CSRD compliance projects.
  • CSRD Expertise: Proven track record in guiding clients through CSRD compliance processes.
  • International Exposure: Experience working with international organizations is highly desirable.
  • EFRAG Involvement: Participation in working groups (e.g., EFRAG or similar bodies involved in defining CSRD foundations) would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • CSRD Compliance Advisory: Support the client in their CSRD compliance journey, identifying relevant topics and Important Reporting Obligations (IRO).
  • Materiality Thresholds: Define materiality thresholds and conduct double materiality assessments.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform a detailed gap analysis to assess current compliance status versus CSRD requirements.
  • Roadmap Development: Build a comprehensive CSRD roadmap for the client, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Report Writing: Draft and finalize the CSRD compliance report.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage our project team, allocating tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Expertise Sharing: Provide subject matter expertise on advanced CSRD topics, guiding the team with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Deliverables Oversight: Ensure high-quality deliverables, steering the project towards timely and effective completion.
  • Client Interaction: Regular on-site presence in Luxembourg/Belgium (minimum 1 day every two weeks) and participation in steering committee meetings.
