We’re now seeking a dedicated Sustainability Manager to help drive our sustainability initiatives and reporting, with a particular focus on UK operations. In this role, you’ll play a vital role in developing and implementing sustainable practices, ensuring compliance, and contributing to our long-term environmental strategy. This is a permanent role based in our Kings Cross Office with an expectation to travel to other Eurostar sites including our Depot in East London.
Internal reference only: This is a Grade E1 role based at Kings Place.
The close date for this role is Sunday 3rd November. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible; Eurostar reserves the right to contact candidates before close date and to close the role earlier if suitable candidates are identified.

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Be responsible for several reporting and audit commitments, including managing the ISO 14001 and 5001 certification, Carbon Disclosure Project and annual legal reporting
  • Discover how relevant environmental data can be generated by Eurostar and implement processes to generate this data. Analyse data for insights and reporting.
  • Contribute to effective management of environmental data collection and analysis to monitor achievement of sustainability targets including SBTi
  • Ensure effective reporting of data to internal stakeholders, shareholders, corporate clients, regulators, and other interested parties
  • Identify and advise Eurostar Group on climate risk and adaptation, and measures to address these
  • Act as subject matter expert to provide guidance for teams on environmental legislation compliance
  • Promote internal and external communications on Eurostar’s sustainability initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with external partners to coordinate joint progress and drive environmental improvements, with a particular focus on UK-based external partners

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll need:

  • A relevant Degree in Sustainability, Sustainability Reporting, Environmental Regulation or equivalent work-based experience.
  • Good understanding of environmental legislation and trends in corporate sustainability
