Your role:
In this global role, you will deliver timely procurement-related sustainability information and contribute to sustainability performance assessments and external ratings. You will collaborate with Sustainability Managers, subject matter experts in Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Legal, and Investor Relations, as well as engage with industry representatives (e.g., TfS, EcoVadis) and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, consultants).
You will gather data from various procurement areas, focusing on financial and non-financial reporting (e.g. Annual Report, Sustainability chapter in Annual report, TCFD reporting, CSRD/CS3D, EcoVadis rating, CDP, other Sustainability ratings), supply chain transparency, decarbonization, risk management, supplier diversity, and responsible minerals sourcing. This includes managing both qualitative and quantitative data on supplier spending, financial performance, and sustainability audits using digital tools.
In addition to reporting, you will support the Procurement Sustainability CoE team in embedding sustainability practices into procurement processes, such as supplier selection, business award decisions, and supplier performance measurement.
This role also involves staying current with regulatory changes in sustainable procurement and supporting sustainability projects across the procurement organization.
Key Interactions - internal: coordination with Sustainability Managers, Sourcing Managers, Group Sustainability Departments, and business units as well as external: engagement with industry initiatives and external stakeholders like auditors and rating agencies.
Who you are:
- Degree in Science, Business Administration, Economics, Sustainability Management, or equivalent.
- Background in sustainability reporting with knowledge of key areas such as human rights, decarbonization, responsible sourcing, and supply chain risks. Familiarity with sustainability assessments like CDP and EcoVadis is essential.
- Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools and a preference for digital and AI-driven reporting tools.
- A diligent, detail-oriented approach, ensuring consistency across documents and reports.
- Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing reporting and compliance requirements environment.
- Ability to understand information requirements and interests of different internal and external stakeholders.
- Work experience in interdisciplinary and virtual teams.
- Proficiency in English.
