Description:

EY Climate Change & Sustainability services team support our clients in managing, improving and reporting on their sustainability performance. We help our clients accelerate their business transformation, assisting them in understanding ESG related business risks and opportunities, managing regulatory changes and delivering strategic advice.
The Opportunity & Your Key Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be working as an expert in your role, providing support, advice and challenge to clients across all market sectors, actively engaging with clients and with other professionals and service areas within EY. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for identifying, selling, and delivering high quality sustainability projects to customers. You help manage end-to-end engagements and support less experienced colleagues in their work. In this role you would be working with client projects focusing on topics such as climate and decarbonization, GHG inventory, EU Taxonomy and science-based targets. We work across a broad spectrum of sustainability related topics including strategy, human rights, ESG due diligence, supply chain management, biodiversity etc.
You are an important part of our energetic sustainability team. The glue that keeps us moving forward together is the motivation of making a difference in the sustainability work and business success of our customers. Our projects often involve colleagues from a range of other countries and the work environment is truly international and versatile. Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, we expect you to have:

  • Suitable master’s degree in a Sustainability related field, Economy, Engineering, Technology or similar
  • 2 + years of previous experience of sustainability work on topics such as CSRD, EU taxonomy, SFDR, European sustainability standards ESRS, GHG Protocol and GHG inventory development, carbon offsetting and credits, science-based targets etc.
  • Good organizational and project coordination skills
  • Client management and business development skills
  • Professional working language proficiency in English. Proficiency in Finnish or Swedish is a plus.

Your working style is customer oriented and providing an excellent customer experience is a top priority for you. You enjoy teamwork and feel comfortable in a fast-phased work environment.
