Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of our 2030 sustainability strategy and goals by providing best-in-class reporting. The successful candidate will assist with both carbon accounting and broader project management tasks. This includes performing in-depth data analysis on our emissions data and actively engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environmental Data Quality Assurance: Analyze environmental data submitted by local markets through the Salesforce Net Zero Cloud (NZC) platform.
  • Data Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve any inconsistencies or anomalies found in the data during quantity assurance process.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders (local markets, auditors) via email, calls, or other appropriate channels to clarify data-related questions.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with managers to address inquiries and provide any necessary data or information during external audits.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Assist managers in generating environmental reports in Excel or Salesforce format for audit purposes. This may involve compiling data, creating visualizations, and ensuring report accuracy.
  • Other sustainability reporting related ad-hoc activities to support the managers.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Sustainability knowledge: Good understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and best practices in sustainability reporting is essential.
  • Sustainability reporting framework: Good understanding, experience and/or willingness to learn Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) standards.
  • Data analysis skills: The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources is crucial for preparing accurate sustainability reports.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools: Being able to present complex sustainability data in a clear and concise way through charts, graphs, and other visuals is a valuable asset.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with various stakeholders across the markets.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and solve problems related to data collection, analysis, and reporting is important.
  • Time management skills: Being able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively is crucial.
  • Languages: Proficiency in a second language would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or masters degree: A bachelor’s degree or masters degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, environmental engineering, data analysis, or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience with GHGP is preferred, however other transferable skills will also be considered.
