Job Description
Reporting into the EHS function, the EHS and Sustainability Data Specialist will help the team collect, organize, maintain, and manage data as well as gathered intelligence. You will also be asked to lead program improvement efforts to simplify and streamline existing data and knowledge management processes.

Knowledge and data management play a key part in informing stakeholders who make strategic decisions. As a Data Specialist, you will work with a variety of multidisciplinary engineering and business teams to collect, manage, and deliver critical support information.
This position will monitor company sustainability programs and projects, ensure compliance with applicable EU and other regulations, and conformance to company endorsed sustainability and EHS programmes. Maintains emissions inventories, monitoring of waste and energy data and auditing of reporting methods. Validate accuracy of health and safety records in support of enterprise safety metrics goals and related measures. Be an active team member on sustainability reporting teams for Carbon Disclosure Project, Ecovadis and customer requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Technical degree. Preferred bachelor degree or comparable in Information Sciences, Data Management, STEM.
  • 0-3 years of Experience in Data management concepts and implementation.
  • Other relevant experience may be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Role will process manage large amounts of collected data and collection of new data will accelerate.
  • Proficient in Source Data Analysis, profiling, integration, modelling. Has expertise in data management technologies such as SAP, Power BI, Excel, MS Power Automate SP Flow, others.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills and attention to detail. Able to process large amounts of information quickly and assess it critically.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of time, regionally.
    You will hybrid work in Katowice, Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Organization and Management - accurately update and maintain data sets of key information gathered.
  • Analytics - Analyze data gathered to define best in class characteristics and trends of key metrics.
  • Reporting, Dashboarding and Visualization - Create and maintain dashboards and other infographics to help stakeholders quickly comprehend data.
  • Curate and manage custom searches to keep key stakeholders updated in areas of interest.
  • Knowledge Management - Overall management of content created from collected data.
  • Source and structure data that is not readily available.
  • Participates in the day-to-day delivery of global sustainability projects that include Scopes 1,2,3 emissions data collection, metrics development, and tracking.
  • Engage with suppliers, peer groups or industry associations on EHS and Sustainability topics.
  • Work with multidisciplinary project teams across the company to align project milestones, schedules, cost, and metrics to deliver on corporate EHS and Sustainability goals, including training, reporting, and auditing.
