Overview

  • Leads regional go-to-market for our solutions for domestic and cross border payments, across all rails: push to card, Account to Account, wallet and cash pick-up addressing different flows, The ideal candidate is passionate about payments, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and has sales and P&L management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads on driving strategy and execution to establish MasterCard as the front-runner within the Europe Region in the fast-evolving domestic and cross border payments applications space.
  • Leads broad commercialization initiatives including establishing go to market approach for products, and driving commercial plans to ensure success
  • Acts as an expert, advocate and champion for our money transfer solutions on account-based and card-based rails, both domestic and cross-border to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manages product and oversees sales effort for the region: product roadmap management with Global team, training, sales team support
  • Ability to engage with senior executive internally and externally – across Banks, FinTech’s, Originating Institutions, Money Transfer Organisations and Partners (ISVs, Account Payable platforms)
  • Advises and supports sales by recommending and influencing product pricing, drives engagement with the divisional teams and leadership and external engagement via events
  • Oversees the team’s input and validations on idea generation, concept validation, and business case development or existing product enhancements and new product development
  • Responsible for the overall product financial performance in the Region

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep knowledge and insight into the Payments market in Europe, with experience in managing solutions for banks, FinTech’s or originating institutions and se
  • Experience within transaction banking teams, money transfer institutions or consulting into this space is required, with experience across solutioning and sales
  • Experience setting direction for strategic go-to-market plans for a variety of diverse products and solutions and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
  • Experience translating and applying customer feedback to lead product offering adjustment strategies
  • Brings significant market knowledge to successfully deploy products and services
  • Ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders within the business at Executive level
  • Be a strong and confident writer and speaker, to effectively communicate your feedback to stakeholders
