Business FunctionDBS Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.ResponsibilitiesThe Business unit controller will be responsible for the following: * Partner closely with Business in developing a deep understanding of key performance drivers to support strategic decisions and provide independent inputs on business financials/trends/ related issues.* Oversee and drive MIS system and reporting implementation regionally through close collaboration with business partners.* Actively participate in discussion and direction-setting on all key business performance indicators, e.g., revenue growth, expense management, profitability, RM productivity, Net New Money, AUM, etc.* Perform deep and value-added analysis on the business performance using big data.* Participate actively in annual planning process through discussions with business partners.* Establish strong internal controls over the business financials and processes to comply with accounting and internal policies.Requirements* Strong leadership and influencing skills; hands-on and delivery focused.* Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly driven and initiative-taker* Strong and broad-based understanding of wealth management business and product dynamics, preferably in the Private Banking/High Net worth segment space.* Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline is preferable.* Minimum more than 15 years of experience in management accounting/business planning/business strategyApply NowWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognizes your achievements
