What you’ll do:
The position involves developing and integrating LTE mobile cellular network functions software to extend connectivity to global communities with satellite backhaul. We focus on end user experience and service availability. This position plays a KEY role in the daily monitoring and functioing of the LTE network across the country.

The day-to-day:

• Design and integrate mobile network functions software with emphasis on Linux based distributed packet core and cloud-based orchestration.
• Drive requirements, design, development, and commercialization throughout the product life cycle - Collaborate with cross functional teams to come up with the right interfaces and integration between custom, open source, and vendor provided software systems.
• Develop technical design solutions for Linux VLAN, VPN, and WAN networking, AWS based orchestration, and Network Management System.
• Perform network system integration.
• Provide production network support and assistance.
• Provide communications and materials to stakeholders for projects and designs when required. Guide leadership team on technology decisions and constraints.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a strong software developer in C/C++/JAVA/Python/Go.
• Strong Cloud Native and Linux Networking software skills and expertise in AWS/Kubernetes environment.
• Skills in integrating open-source software using REST APIs and Diameter protocols;
• Familiarity with SNMP and XML based management interfaces.
• Familiarity with LTE and Wireless standards and protocols.
• Familiarity with open-source frameworks- Grafana, Prometheus, Fluent.
• Ability to work with software and project teams consisting of several partner entities including mobile operators.
• Network monitoring Support (OAM, RAN, Athonet Core)
• Reporting (Daily Availability, Capacity, IFT)
• Juniper
• T3 support
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
