Since 2017, Artemis Aquatics Melbourne has been driven by a powerful mission: to inspire every swimmer to be the swimmer they want to be.
Based at Melbourne Girls Grammar School in South Yarra, we offer a welcoming, inclusive program for girls and boys. From swimmers starting their squad journey to athletes competing at the National Age level, our experienced, passionate coaches foster a positive team culture, dedicated to helping each swimmer reach their full potential.
Our program is dedicated to preparing both girls and boys for competitive success at school championships (GSV, APS, AGSV, SSV), as well as local, district, and Victorian and National Age Championships. We also warmly welcome swimmers who are passionate about fitness or seeking to enhance their performance in other aquatic disciplines, including water polo, triathlon, surf lifesaving, and open-water swimming.
Our squad pathway is designed to:
- Provide tailored training and competition experiences, that are age, stage, and developmentally appropriate.
- Support positive youth sport growth and development for athletes, considering physical, emotional and cognitive maturity.
- Empower swimmers to embrace healthy and balanced lifestyles that fuel their best selves—both in and out of the water.
The Swim Squad Coach will assist the Head Coach and Aquatics Program Administrator to develop swimmers across the Artemis Aquatics Swimming Club and respective SSV/GSV Swim Teams.
The Swim Squad Coach will be involved in all areas of the Squad Program, from Development Squad through to Performance Age swimmers.
