DETAILS
- Department: Telecom Switchboard
- Schedule: Part Time, Evening, 24hrs weekly, 3:00pm-11:30pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Hospital: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis
- Location: Wichita, KS
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities:
Operate the organization’s telecommunication system to answer and route incoming calls and to
communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements.
- Receive and relay internal and external calls and provide general information according to protocol.
- Maintain desk directories, on-call list, reference guides and other associated reference materials.
- Operate beeper and paging system to contact personnel and code team.
- Communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.
