UAS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: UAS is seeking a self motivated individual interested in supporting information technology users and systems. Do you have a positive attitude and an inclination toward superior customer service? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to support users and services, support server hardware & software, and maintain data security.
In this role, your day typically involves managing server and storage systems within an enterprise environment, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. You’ll spend time troubleshooting various issues, identifying effective hardware and software solutions to resolve them promptly. A key responsibility is overseeing the data environment, which includes managing backups, replication, and ensuring security measures are in place. Additionally, you’ll respond to user change requests and address any technology-related problems they encounter, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities and customer service experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and backup solutions. To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience with Perl, Javascript or PowerShell, as well as the capacity to learn and apply new programming languages as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in CIS, CS, BSIS or similar discipline and 6 months relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
