About the Role: We are seeking a skilled System and Networks Support Specialist to enhance and manage our IT infrastructure. You will handle network systems, server management, DNS configuration, and work with hypervisors. Experience with Docker is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required as occasional travel to branch offices may be necessary.
We also accept applications for both junior and senior positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• For Senior positions: Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and server administration.
• For Junior positions: Minimum of 1 year of experience in network and server administration.
• Proven expertise in DNS setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with hypervisor technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required for occasional travel.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement and manage network security measures.
• Server Management:
• Oversee server operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Monitor server performance, optimize system resources, and perform regular backups.
• Ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place and functioning properly.
• DNS Configuration:
• Configure and manage DNS settings for domain name resolution.
• Troubleshoot DNS issues and implement security measures.
• Hypervisor Management:
• Administer and support hypervisor environments (VM creation, deployment, maintenance).
• Monitor hypervisor performance and troubleshoot related issues.
• Implement best practices for virtual environment optimization and security.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide expert-level support for network, server, DNS, and hypervisor issues.
• Document and resolve technical problems, escalate complex issues as needed.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve IT processes and system performance.
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement updates.
• Facilities Support:
• Act as the point of contact for office facilities support, including phone systems, elevators, and power management.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as needed to support office operations.
• Docker (Plus):
• Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Support and manage Docker environments.
