System Architect

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced System Architect to join our team. This role requires expertise in system design, architecture planning, and providing strategic direction for the development and deployment of complex systems. As a System Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and secure systems while ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15 years of hands-on technical experience in software/system development, with a significant portion in architecture and design.
• Strong understanding of large computer/software systems, including cloud-based, distributed, and enterprise-level systems.
• Proven experience in software development, with knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Expertise in system architecture principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong background in designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and technologies such as microservices, containerization, and serverless architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of data management, security practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with enterprise system integration and designing multi-tier architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with modern frontend and backend technologies, APIs, and system integrations.Certifications in system architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

• Design and architect complex, large-scale software systems, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Lead the architectural direction of software and hardware systems, collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align with business and technical needs.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle, from initial concept through design, implementation, and deployment.
• Review and evaluate system architecture and recommend improvements based on performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain high-level architecture diagrams and detailed documentation for system components and interactions.
• Ensure integration of system components (software, hardware, cloud services, etc.) to meet business needs.
• Provide guidance on design and implementation best practices, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues, working with development teams to address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other system challenges.
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders across departments to ensure systems are designed to support future growth and technology trends.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve system architecture strategies.Mentor and support junior architects and development teams in technical decisions and career development.
