JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have a passion for developing electrohydraulic systems? At Danfoss Power Solutions, we are looking for a System & Control Engineer to develop, integrate, and validate electrohydraulic steering systems for off-highway machines. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative technology, translating customer needs into advanced technical solutions while collaborating with a global team.
BACKGROUND & SKILLS
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Software, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience in product development is preferred, but newly graduated engineers are also welcome.
- Knowledge of control engineering, from theoretical principles to practical application.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based system design.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508) (an advantage).
- Understanding of hydraulic system design and off-highway applications (a plus).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a System & Control Engineer, you will be responsible for the full development cycle of electrohydraulic steering systems, ensuring seamless machine integration and component development. You will work closely a cross functional project team, customers, and external suppliers to develop state-of-the-art steering functions that meet functional safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating customer requirements into technical concepts, system architectures, and functional safety specifications.
- Developing model-based control systems using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Performing integration and validation in both internal and external test labs.
- Supporting customers with troubleshooting and application design to optimize system performance.
- Leading proof-of-concept developments for new electrohydraulic technologies.
- Collaborating with universities and external partners on modeling and simulation to enhance product features.
- Contribute to quality claim analysis
