System Engineer

Do you want to use your Systems Engineering (SE) expertise to support the energy transition? We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer on a full-time basis to support the engineering design team of the largest offshore substation ever. This role is integral to their Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes and offers a unique opportunity to influence SE strategy at the organization level.
Tasks
Contribute to the development, adoption, and delivery of Requirements Engineering (RE) and Requirements Management (RM) processes and practices including interfacing with Design, Project, and Systems Engineering teams together with budget development as necessary.
Responsible for (V)erification & (V)alidation activities and aligned with the project life cycle.
Lead the Requirements Engineering (RE) and Requirements Management (RM) elements of the complete project lifecycle,
Provide direct Requirements Management (RM) support and insight to each project’s management and delivery team.
Develop and work with key delivery partners and service providers for projects.
Engage with external stakeholders within the project.
Write, update, and maintain Requirements Management Plans for new and existing projects.
Apply lessons learned and advise on necessary corrective actions for ongoing projects.
Delivery of high-quality, verifiable requirements to support all stages of a Project life cycle.
Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Science (preferably IT/ Systems Engineering).
8 - 10 years of progressive experience in Requirements Engineering and/or Quality Assurance and/or Software Design Engineering with significant experience in rail and transit projects.
