Job Description

This role is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining the services and applications assigned to the team during their lifecycle. It consists of the “Plan-Build-Run” model for applicable applications. You will be part of a team of 8 engineers in three locations across Europe and in close collaboration with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders. As part of your job role you need to fulfill a couple of different tasks:

  • Maintain a solution proactively (Security and Minor Changes)
  • Create Tasks and Tickets for building the solution
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal departments during the build
  • Document the build phase and prepare instructions for the Run phase
  • Plan and prepare changes to a solution (Professional for major changes)
  • Create knowledge base articles and operational instructions for a solution
  • Plan Tasks and Tickets for Build
  • Act as a 3rd Level Support to the Service Desk
  • Provide management reports of status Analyze the Market on current solutions (New Features, Major Changes)
  • Collaborate with other teams in the early adopter phase to create and architect a solution
  • Creates Trainings, Knowledge Base articles, and Operational Instructions for the Service Desk
  • Evaluate the business requirements for a certain system and adapt to the current environment
  • Act as escalation level during operations
  • Review current operational instructions and processes and adjust those if required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years in a designated function role
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Services
  • Active Directory/ Azure Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows Server Operating System
  • Strong focus in IT Security
  • Basic intercultural experience
  • Ability to mentor and support team members in technical topics and non-technical topics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Fluent business English
  • Proficient German is a plus
