Summary
For the “AIR SIGINT Payload Engineering” department at the Ulm site, we are looking for a “System Engineer Airborne Reconnaissance (f/m/d)” to start as soon as possible.
The department is responsible for the definition and development of airborne reconnaissance systems.

Your Tasks

  • Analysis, concept development and requirements management for complex algorithms and software components
  • Development of automated test strategies to increase efficiency when integrating and testing the overall system
  • Preparation, creation and further development of studies
  • Participation in research and technology projects for innovative and complex applications in the field of electronic warfare
  • Moderation, implementation and presentation of customer workshops as part of projects
  • Focal point for integrated teams (system, UX/UI, software and firmware) in the development of innovative, complex products and system solutions for airborne reconnaissance

Your Profile

  • Completed Master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or comparable studies
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Extensive practical experience in the field of digital signal processing and / or algorithms
  • Practical experience in the field of electronic warfare or radar technology
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and Python
  • Ability to work in a team, confident demeanor and good analytical skills
  • Experience in working with and in integrated project teams
  • Fluency in German and English
