Summary
For the “AIR SIGINT Payload Engineering” department at the Ulm site, we are looking for a “System Engineer Airborne Reconnaissance (f/m/d)” to start as soon as possible.
The department is responsible for the definition and development of airborne reconnaissance systems.
Your Tasks
- Analysis, concept development and requirements management for complex algorithms and software components
- Development of automated test strategies to increase efficiency when integrating and testing the overall system
- Preparation, creation and further development of studies
- Participation in research and technology projects for innovative and complex applications in the field of electronic warfare
- Moderation, implementation and presentation of customer workshops as part of projects
- Focal point for integrated teams (system, UX/UI, software and firmware) in the development of innovative, complex products and system solutions for airborne reconnaissance
Your Profile
- Completed Master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or comparable studies
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive practical experience in the field of digital signal processing and / or algorithms
- Practical experience in the field of electronic warfare or radar technology
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Python
- Ability to work in a team, confident demeanor and good analytical skills
- Experience in working with and in integrated project teams
- Fluency in German and English
