REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US or Australian citizen
- Must Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related field
- Must have 7 years of related experience supporting large systems and sub-systems.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

Responsibilities:
In the role of Systems Engineer, your duties will include:
- Performs a variety of engineering work in the development of an operable system capable of meeting requirements within imposed constraints including mass, cost and schedule.
- Designs and/or research subsystem interfaces to ensure that subsystems are integrated and work together to form a viable complete system. Performs functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams.
- Uses standard procedures in carrying out assignments associated with research, design, development or analysis of specific parts, components, interfaces, or minor phases of a project.
- Coordinates with other technical personnel in solving technical problems, fabricating equipment, gathering information, formulating plans, designs, cost estimates and specifications.
- Provides assistance to higher level engineers in most of the detailed work and translates technical guidance and data received into usable information applicable to the particular assignment.
- Serve as company representative advising customer and contractor personnel on technical requirements for products or services, support equipment and electronic equipment installation.
- Plans, directs and coordinates engineering functions involved in the design and development, installation, testing and integration of systems and subsystems.
- Directs or conducts research studies necessary for the improvement or reconfiguration of systems or subsystems.
- Serves as the customer interface and organizational consultant on significant issues requiring technical guidance, redirection or resolution.
- Directs the work of lower-level technical personnel as required.
- Assists in compiling and preparing comprehensive technical reports and proposals.
- May participate as a team member of multiple teams; may act as primary intra-organizational liaison.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
