Responsibilities:
As a system engineer you will be part of a team responsible for the system design of the Steer by Wire system. You will work closely together with function owners, software engineers, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers and project management to ensure the design of the system. You will secure and follow up the realization of the functions and use cases, the integration in the vehicle architecture as well as the implementation and verification of the system design. You will also lead or support FMEA and Functional safety work (ISO26262).
Your main day-to-day tasks are:
- Logic design and requirement balancing (SRD).
- Product Capability solutions, meaning allocation of requirements, component design and architecture.
- Review and handshake incoming requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders and suppliers
- Technical safety concept
- Supporting FMEA
- Support/lead safety related work
- Use case definition
- Contribute to the test strategy and test plan, including testcase review.
