System Engineer

We are currently looking for a System Engineer to join one of our clients (direct hiring).
Location: On-site, Lisbon.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar;
• Between 2 to 4 years of experience as a System Engineer;
• Experience providing technical guidance;
• Experience escalating support in all technology solutions (mobility devices, GPNS) and request center processes;
• Support users in internet access requirements;
• Experience installing new software applications;
• Experience with servers/network;
• Experience moving, adding and changing PCs and migrating data when necessary;
• Experience performing routine desktop backups;
• Experience providing end-user support;
• Experience ensuring technology security (encryption, patch deployment) and compliance (audits);
• Experience supporting infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, Apps, ect.);
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure;
• Experience conducting periodic inventories of applications and hardware;
• Experience creating and maintaining secure server environment (backups and preventive maintenance);
• Experience writing and presenting proposals to customers, planning projects and creating cost models;
• Experience providing detailed reports when needed;
• Client-facing experience;
• Proactive, dynamic and responsible;
• Analytic professional, with critical thinking;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
