Description:
The System Interface Manager is responsible for overseeing the integration of external systems with the developed system. This role involves managing the technical and operational aspects of system interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange, and maintaining the integrity and security of integrated systems. The manager will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to facilitate smooth and efficient interface operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in system integration and interface management.
- Proven track record of managing complex integration projects.
- Experience with various integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, ESBs, ETL).
- Proven track record of delivering Government projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of system integration methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in programming languages and integration platforms.
- Knowledge of security protocols and data protection standards.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Management :
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of system interfaces.
- Ensure integration solutions align with business requirements and technical specifications.Manage end-to-end integration processes, including data mapping, transformation, and transfer.
- Project Coordination :
- Lead and coordinate interface projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Technical Expertise :
- Provide technical guidance and support for interface development and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in system integration and interface management.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications and user guides.
- Vendor Collaboration :Coordinate with external parties to ensure compatibility and compliance with integration standards.
- Quality Assurance and Testing :
- Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of system interfaces.
- Conduct regular interface audits and performance evaluations.Address and resolve interface-related issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead and mentor a team of integration specialists and engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
