Description:

We are looking for a highly innovative and passionate architect to join our industrial system engineering and marketing team that is developing solutions for next generation factory automation systems.
Your team will approach the market from a system and use case perspective to address key design challenges our customers are facing. This will require an in-depth understanding of their systems and applications. As system-level experts, the team will provide business lines with roadmap input and be a go-to partner for the regional sales team for system-level offerings, proof of concepts and reference designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and support the development of system solutions strategies for factory automation business and segment growth.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous customer programs.
  • Partner with NXP Industrial Segment Engineering, marketing, and sales teams to build relationships with 15 top segment focus customers; influence value propositions and differentiated messages developed by marketing partners
  • Gather feedback from your partner and customer base, to provide input to the roadmap for future microprocessor and microcontroller products and solutions.
  • Help develop management consensus for system level solutions to support the global revenue growth strategy for focus customers. Leverage lessons learned to win in the mass market.
  • Work with business lines to launch segment-level development platforms and solutions for applications such as factory programmable logic controllers (PLC), motor control and drive systems, information systems (Industrial HMI), robot systems, metering, and connectivity
  • Contribute market-specific knowledge and customer feedback to the definition of innovative new microprocessor and microcontroller products, technology and solutions for all NXP business lines.
  • Track and ensure execution of your plans, while clearly communicating changes to customers and internal teams. Drive corrective actions where needed.
