QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in application development in Linux, Java, Weblogic, JBoss, MQ, Apache Web, Oracle in retail banking application and banking knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and experience with DevOps practices or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with log management tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, BMC, Geneos) and basic knowledge of Cloud, Container, and Microservices concepts.
  • Good to have ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation Certificate.
  • Good knowledge in the domain of Retail Banking & Cards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willing to work rotation shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day incident and problem management for Retail Banking & Cards, with a focus on Unix applications such as 3DS, EST, BLP, STA, etc.
  • Run small initiatives with peers and production managers and demonstrate continuous improvement achievements.
  • Analyze current demand trends of production incidents and provide recommendations for demand reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Act as a coordinator for different teams, including Problem Resolution and Incident Management.
  • Provide day-to-day production incident support and handle inquiries from business users, operational users, and customers via the contact center.
  • Perform analysis on production incidents for demand reduction and efficiently handle problems, providing timely resolutions.
  • Critically examine requirements, understand operations and new application systems, create and modify procedures to solve problems, and coordinate Problem and Change management for production systems.
