Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Systemic family worker to our Systemic Practice hub in a full time (12 month fixed term) vacancy. The intention of the Systemic Hub is to support families/carers to remain together by adopting a systemic family approach. The Systemic Hub supports the embedding of our Systemic Practice model, with dedicated Systemic Family Practitioner’s (SFP) being linked to each of the social work teams and plans to widen this further.
As a Systemic family worker, you will be required to:
- Support the Systemic Family Practitioner to embed and adopt our systemic model of practice rooted in relational work with families, which emphasizes people’s relationships as key to understanding their experiences.
- To support the Systemic Family Practitioner to use systemic tools to instigate change to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
- To contribute to the consultation process led by the SFP’s with the social worker teams regarding systemic family approaches with children and families.
- To work full-time.
