QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA) with experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proven business partnering skills, with experience supporting finance teams and working with integrated financial systems.
  • Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, including related controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and IT solutions for financial management.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are excited to offer a new opportunity at enfinium for a Systems & Process Accountant to support our finance team and collaborate with all our sites. Based at our Ferrybridge office, this newly created role will be pivotal in ensuring governance around accounting policies and driving consistency across our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Systems Management: Supervise a Junior Systems Finance Officer and manage key financial systems (eFinancials, Paygate, eAnalyser, eProcurement, PIM) to ensure they operate efficiently and accurately.
  • Policy & Process Development: Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures for finance systems, ensuring consistency and compliance across all sites.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain control over system environments, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and produce clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.
  • Support Across Sites: Troubleshoot and resolve issues for site accountants and assist with process improvements, while providing cover for Plant and Head Office Accountant roles when needed.
  • Performance Monitoring: Contribute to the preparation of management accounts, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high standards of financial performance.
