Travelsphere has been discovering the world with its customers for nearly 60 years whilst Just You is one of the original dedicated solo operators. G Touring is the touring division of Bruce Poon Tip’s group of companies, he also owns G Adventures and Tru Travels. As a group we believe travel can have a positive impact and be a force for good in the communities we visit. We operate Travelsphere Cares, and Just You Cares in partnership with Planeterra, the world’s leading non-governmental organisation turning travel into impact in communities around the globe.
We are increasing our global operations and are super excited to be setting up a small team in our G Adventures office in Lima, Peru to support the G Touring operational function.

Responsibilities:

WE HAVE TWO ROLES AVAILABLE BASED IN OUR OFFICE IN LIMA, PERU

Purpose of the role: To contribute to the long-term success of the G Touring brands through the management of core systems data. From set up and migration to a new reservation system to the long-term process management of the system, this role plays a key part to the company’s success.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Build tour components in the reservation system.
  • Book past passengers into reservation system to ensure accurate data and reporting.
  • Build future tour templates, inventory and pricing.
  • Ensure the use of correct booking processes and procedures to minimize risk and reduce error rates.
  • Create tour budgets and ensure accuracy of budget detail.
  • Responsible for the quality and integrity of data in our reservations system
  • Provide governance and maintenance of Operational systems and process to ensure Local Ops consistently follow global process.
  • Coordinate product changes in reservations system as well as passenger notifications of any changes, working closely with the Product team.
  • Work closely with the Product department throughout the year to ensure new and changed tours are accurately updated in our systems.
  • Conduct regular reviews of all existing product and systems content.
  • Accurate completion of all required validations and ensure systems and tools (e.g. Block Sheet, Validations) are accurate, report any issues to the Reservations Manager.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Ability to work with both speed and efficiency while ensuring data integrity.
  • Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • 1-2+ years of contact center or data entry experience
  • Advanced organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with the Google Suite of products (Sheets, Documents, Slides, Sites)
  • Highly proficient in English both written and spoken.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to an environment that is subject to constant change.
  • Thorough, analytical and systematic thought processes.
  • Solid knowledge of the travel industry.
