We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to provide the force with technical support relating to multiple systems such as Storm, Aspire, Compass and Niche. This is an important role where you’ll need to be adaptable and understand the requirements of working across various systems, as well as engaging with internal stakeholders that require guidance and technical expertise. Your knowledge will be fundamental in ensuring systems can be used effectively and remain fit for purpose.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support for software issues for example, fault diagnosis, systems testing and daily user access.

  • Ensuring technical environments are being kept up to date and synchronised.

  • Planning and undertaking system configuration for go-live.
  • Contributing to the preservation of data accuracy and integrity and being a point of contact for queries and resolution.
  • Form and maintain working relationships with stakeholders across the Force, identifying collaboration opportunities and attending events for best practice.
  • Manage the delivery of systems upgrades and patches from Suppliers.
  • Assist with the identification of training needs and course content for specific groups of users of the system.
  • Configure and maintain current and future features and functionality provided within the systems to improve effectiveness and enhance the user experience.
  • Utilise in-depth product knowledge to suggest system solutions to improve processes and overcome operational problems. Engage in CAB meetings to advise on configuration changes/ enhancements.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the current system and any future enhancements.
