QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer technology or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of O365 products.
  • A basic understanding of networking standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, results-oriented and able to drive deadlines.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work and delegate simple tasks.
  • Results-oriented and able to drive deadlines.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • Able to travel to projects within and outside of city limits.
  • Capable of lifting various computing equipment weighing up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides on-site user IT support to the QEII project team, occasional remote and on-site assistance to other user groups as needed.
  • Promote the adoption of technology solutions at district jobsites including deployment, ongoing support, and deliver technical training and other knowledge resources.
  • Actively seeks out issues, problems, and opportunities, and creates solutions through feedback from operational project teams to identify innovations, challenges, and issues.
  • Build working relationships with project team.
  • Jobsite setup and maintenance for various technologies and infrastructure, including remote support.
  • Provide technical support and training to aid users with the use of construction technology applications and assists other team members with technical issues.
  • Resolve user-reported problems through timely logging of issues, resolution to problems, following the companies’ procedures and policies.
  • Administers and monitors construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation and responds to issues.
  • Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem-management database.
  • Assists other team members with technical issues. Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
